Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Clinic Coordinator, where your organizational skills and medical administrative expertise will drive the smooth operation of our busy clinic. In this vital role, you will coordinate patient services, manage medical records, and support clinical staff to ensure exceptional patient care. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for patients and staff alike, fostering efficiency and compliance across all clinic operations. Duties Manage patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and rescheduling using EMR, Rethink, Central Reach Review and maintain accurate medical documentation, including care plans, progress notes, and billing records in accordance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies. Assist with medical billing processes, including insurance verification, coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), and claims submission for Medicare and other health insurers. Support front desk operations by greeting patients, answering phone inquiries with professional etiquette, and managing patient check-in/check-out procedures. Ensure proper documentation review for medical records management, including electronic health records (EHR) systems and paper files. Facilitate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to resolve billing or scheduling issues efficiently. Maintain compliance with health information management standards while supporting office administrative tasks using Microsoft Office tools and other computer applications. Experience Proven experience in a medical office setting or clinic environment with a strong background in medical administrative support. Support the clinic with schedules, interviews, some HR assistance when needed Knowledge of medical coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding, and medical billing processes including Medicare claims is essential. Experience with health insurance procedures and understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively serve diverse patient populations. Demonstrated clerical skills such as typing (including 10-key), data entry, document review, and phone communication are required. Prior clinic experience in a dental or general healthcare setting will be advantageous. Strong computer skills combined with excellent customer service capabilities to support both clinical staff and patients effectively. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
