We are recruiting for a Full-Time Medical Day Care Administrator to join our skilled team of pediatric professionals in Northfield, NJ. This position is benefit eligible.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Medical Day Care Administrator has full authority, responsibility, and accountability for the overall management, operation, and regulatory compliance of the Pediatric Medical Day Care program. The Administrator ensures the delivery of safe, effective, and compliant services for medically complex pediatric patients in accordance with: Facility policies and procedures NJ Department of Health Pediatric Medical Day Care regulations Applicable state and federal regulations (including
N.J.A.C. 8
43J and related standards) Organizational policies and standards The Administrator oversees clinical operations, staffing, program development, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and interdisciplinary coordination, ensuring a safe, family-centered, and high-quality care environment.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
The Administrator must meet one of the following NJ regulatory pathways: Master's degree + 1 year administrative/supervisory experience in a licensed healthcare facility, OR Bachelor's degree + 3 years healthcare experience, including 1 year supervisory , OR Licensed healthcare professional (RN, LSW/LCSW, Physician, APN) with administrative experience
AND:
At least 1 year experience within the past 5 years caring for children with special healthcare needs Strong leadership, regulatory, and operational management skills Experience with DOH surveys, staffing models, and program oversight preferred CPR Certification (BLS)
