Position Summary The Clinical Lead serves as one of the clinical leaders of the organization, overseeing clinician development, supervision, quality assurance, and clinical performance across both our Branchburg and Randolph offices. This role works closely with ownership, the Clinical Director and the Clinical Care Coordinator to ensure high-quality clinical care while helping shape the future direction of our growing practice. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing direct clinical work with leadership responsibilities and is looking for long-term professional growth. Responsibilities Clinical Leadership Provide individual and group clinical supervision to provisionally licensed clinicians (LSWs and LACs) Mentor clinicians and support professional development Assist clinicians with complex cases, ethical concerns, and clinical decision-making Foster a collaborative and positive clinical culture Promote evidence-based practice and clinical excellence Quality Assurance Review documentation for quality and compliance Monitor clinician documentation standards Track and improve clinical quality metrics Identify trends and implement quality improvement initiatives Clinical Performance & KPI Oversight Monitor clinician productivity and clinical KPIs Review practice data and identify opportunities for improvement Collaborate with leadership on clinical goals and strategic initiatives Provide recommendations that improve clinical outcomes and organizational performance Hiring & Growth Participate in interviewing and onboarding clinicians Assist with clinician orientation and ongoing training Support continued expansion of both office locations Collaborate on new clinical programming and practice initiatives What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Passionate about mentoring clinicians Positive, collaborative, and approachable A confident leader who enjoys coaching others Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable making decisions and providing direction Excited about helping build something—not simply maintaining it Able to think strategically while remaining clinically engaged Invested in creating an exceptional clinician experience
Qualifications Required:
LCSW licensed in New Jersey NJ Clinical Supervisor credential (qualified to supervise both LSWs and LACs) Previous leadership and/or supervisory experience Strong knowledge of outpatient mental health practice Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
Experience leading teams within a group practice Experience with quality assurance and documentation review Experience tracking performance metrics or clinical KPIs CBT-oriented clinical background Schedule Hybrid schedule available. However, regular in-person leadership presence at both our Branchburg and Randolph offices is an essential requirement of this role. We believe effective clinical leadership happens through visibility, relationship-building, mentorship, and collaboration with staff across both locations. Compensation Structure We believe leadership should grow alongside the practice.
