Duties Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures, ensuring a positive first impression. Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and coordinate patient flow using patient management software and electronic health records (EHR). Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with health regulation policies and HIPAA guidelines. Communicate effectively with patients via phone and client communication tools to confirm appointments, provide information, and address inquiries. Support medical administrative tasks such as data entry, typing reports, and managing health insurance documentation. Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate smooth patient care processes and ensure timely follow-up. Uphold patient confidentiality at all times while managing sensitive health information with precision. Qualifications Proven experience working in a medical office or healthcare environment, demonstrating familiarity with medical terminology and administrative procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with patient management software or EMR/EHR systems. Knowledge of health regulation policies, health insurance procedures, and electronic health records management. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse patient populations. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and managing multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to handle phone communication professionally while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Prior office experience combined with typing skills that support efficient documentation and correspondence. Pay:
$21.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
