This position serves as a key point of contact between patients, doctors, hygienists, and the dental team, ensuring patients understand their recommended treatment and feel comfortable moving forward with their care. Patient Experience & Communication Greet patients warmly and provide professional, personalized customer service. Build strong relationships with patients and establish trust throughout their dental journey. Answer patient questions regarding appointments, treatment recommendations, insurance, and financial options. Follow up with patients after consultations and treatment visits as appropriate. Handle patient concerns professionally and work toward timely resolution. Treatment Coordination Coordinate treatment plans between patients and the clinical team. Scheduling & Office Coordination Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments efficiently. Maintain an organized schedule while maximizing provider productivity. Monitor cancellations and no-shows and assist with filling open appointments. Coordinate appointments requiring multiple visits, providers, or procedures. Maintain accurate and complete patient records. Insurance & Financial Coordination Verify insurance eligibility and benefits when applicable. Assist patients with understanding insurance coverage and payment options. Collect copayments, balances, and other payments accurately. Administrative Responsibilities Maintain accurate patient information in the practice management system. Process treatment plans, estimates, forms, and other patient documentation. Communicate effectively with the front desk, clinical team, doctors, and office leadership. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and practice policies. Assist with other administrative duties as needed to support the dental practice. Review doctor-recommended treatment with patients and explain next steps in an easy-to-understand manner. Help patients understand the importance, benefits, and timing of recommended dental care. Coordinate referrals to specialists and communicate relevant information as needed. Follow up on outstanding treatment plans and unscheduled diagnosed procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous dental, medical, healthcare, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred. Dental office or treatment coordination experience is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Comfortable discussing treatment costs and financial arrangements with patients. Professional, compassionate, and confident demeanor. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable learning and using dental practice management software and other technology. Benefits Full time position PTO and holiday pay 401
