Job Description

Position OverviewWe are seeking an Associate Patient Care Coordinator to join a collaborative and patient-focused healthcare team. This role is essential in supporting providers with daily patient care activities, ensuring a seamless patient experience, and maintaining high-quality clinical support. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, eager to learn, and committed to delivering excellent customer service and patient care. Key ResponsibilitiesRoom patients and prepare them for provider visitsObtain and document vital signs accuratelyUpdate and verify patient medical historiesPerform phlebotomy and specimen collectionConduct finger-stick testing, including CBC collectionAssist providers with patient flow and daily clinical operationsMaintain accurate patient documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)Ensure examination rooms are stocked, organized, and prepared for patient visitsDeliver excellent customer service to patients and familiesFollow established safety, infection control, and clinic protocols Required QualificationsExperience obtaining and documenting vital signsPhlebotomy experienceExperience performing finger sticks for CBC collectionStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environmentReliable, trustworthy, and team-oriented mindsetWillingness to learn, develop, and grow within the organization Preferred QualificationsExperience working in a Hematology/Oncology settingPrior experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care environmentFamiliarity with EMR systems and clinical documentation
