For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York's largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere. We are looking for an Assistant Director of Health Services. This position is based out of our offices at our offices in Albany, NY.

Responsibilities:

Assists the Deputy Executive Director in the coordination and daily operations of all Health Care functions. Oversees regulatory compliance in all areas (OPWDD, HIPPA, NYS DOH etc.) and provides Quality Assurance for the division in all aspects of health care services. Responsible for interviewing and selecting candidates for program nurse positions in conjunction with the Hiring Manager, and will provide training for all new nurses. Develops divisional and organizational training and works collaboratively with program nurses and staff to develop consumer specific training and protocols. Provides clinical supervision of Residential & Adult Nurses and works collaboratively with Program Management for performance concerns.

Requirements:

Active Registered Nurse license in NYS required Bachelors Degree in field of Nursing preferred At least 3 years of related experience specifically in Developmental Disabilities preferred At The Center for Disability Services, we don't just accept difference - we celebrate it, support it, and thrive on it for the benefit of our employees and the people we support. Compensation Range:

$85,982.08 - $92,512.37
