Job Summary:
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring they receive the best possible care and service. You will assist with scheduling, insurance verification, patient inquiries, and overall care coordination to create a seamless healthcare experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients in person, over the phone, or via email. Schedule and confirm patient appointments, follow-ups, and procedures. Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations. Maintain and update patient records with accuracy and confidentiality. Communicate with medical staff to coordinate patient care plans. Educate patients about treatment plans, billing procedures, and available resources. Address patient concerns and escalate issues as needed. Ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for all patients.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a healthcare setting, customer service, or administrative role. Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance policies, and healthcare procedures is a plus. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion and professionalism. Pay:
$20.00 - $21.00 per hour
