Position Summary (this section is the brief overview of the position; it is not all responsibilities associated with position) To provide monitoring and oversight of all health care related functions for all assigned OIDD and Enhanced Care Residential programs and to ensure all licensure and regulatory requirements pertaining to health services are met. The Health Services Manager will coordinate with the Director of Health Services to ensure all staff health requirements are met and all staff receive adequate training to carry out health service related duties. Travel between Summerton, Manning, Kingstree, Summerville, Conway, Myrtle Beach areas. Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Provide direct oversight and supervision to Health Service Specialist
Coordinate with the Director of Health Services to ensure all employees receive medication administration training and certification as required.
Conduct observations of the medication administration process and provide feedback.
Coordinate with the Program Managers to ensure appropriate medication administration processes are in place at assigned programs.
Coordinate with Health Services Specialists to ensure residents in all programs receive routine and preventative medical care in a timely manner as required by licensing, regulatory, and custodial agencies.
Coordinate with the Director of Health Services to ensure all state, federal, licensing, regulatory, and accreditation standards pertaining to the storage and administration of medications are met. (take off and leave for Director)
Conduct random audits of medication administration records (MARS) and present results to the leadership team.
Conduct random audits of controlled count logs and present results to the leadership team.
Coordinate with the Health Services Managers, Program Leadership, and Health Service Specialists to ensure all medication errors are appropriately documented, addressed, and remedied.
Provide secondary medication consent for all DSS clients in Enhanced Care Programs.
Ensure all organizational policies, procedures, and plans pertaining to medication, bloodborne pathogens, biohazardous material, and infectious disease control are current and in compliance with state, federal, licensing, and regulatory standards.
Meet, through knowledge or performance, the job duties of all subordinate positions.

Bachelor's Degree in related field and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing Preferred Qualifications (this section is to outline the "nice to have" knowledge/skills)
Medical experience
Basic Life Support Certification
Behavioral Health Experience Physical Requirements Continually remain active, alert and able to respond to all scenarios.
Possess the ability to perform and personally apply the state-specific crisis intervention program and CPR/First Aid skills in their entirety in trainings and actual events. Frequently required to stand and walk. Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
