Clinical Director Behavioral Health and Substance Use Treatment $75,000-$95,000 Annually | Full-Time Leadership Opportunity | Onsite Lead Clinical Excellence in a Mission-Driven Recovery Community NorTek Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced, compassionate and mission-driven Clinical Director for a respected faith-based organization providing comprehensive addiction and behavioral-health treatment for adult men. This is more than an administrative leadership position. It is an opportunity to influence how care is delivered across an entire continuum of recovery services while developing clinicians, strengthening programs and helping individuals build stable, sustainable lives beyond addiction. The organization provides residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programming, traditional outpatient services, transitional support and dual-diagnosis care. Its approach combines professional clinical treatment with structure, accountability, personal responsibility and spiritual growth. The Clinical Director will serve as the organization's senior clinical leader, responsible for treatment quality, staff development, regulatory readiness and the continued advancement of its clinical programs. This opportunity may be an excellent fit for an established Clinical Director or Program Director, as well as a highly capable Clinical Supervisor ready to advance into broader organizational leadership. The Leadership Opportunity The Clinical Director will have the authority and support to: Establish consistent clinical expectations across programs Strengthen assessment, treatment-planning and discharge practices Develop therapists, counselors, case managers and recovery personnel Improve documentation quality and regulatory preparedness Guide complex clinical decisions and crisis responses Expand programming for substance-use and co-occurring mental-health conditions Influence staffing, operations and future program development Build stronger collaboration between clinical, medical and executive teams Integrate evidence-based care responsibly within a Christian treatment mission Create measurable improvements in treatment quality and client outcomes Clinical Leadership Provide strategic and day-to-day clinical oversight for behavioral-health and substance-use treatment programs. Establish clear standards for ethical, evidence-based, person-centered and recovery-focused care. Ensure clinical services address both substance-use disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions. Evaluate existing programs and identify opportunities to improve quality, consistency and outcomes. Guide the responsible integration of evidence-based clinical practices with the organization's Christian mission. Serve as a trusted clinical resource to therapists, counselors, case managers, recovery personnel and executive leadership. Establish departmental goals, performance expectations and clinical priorities. Promote professionalism, accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. Remain accessible to the clinical team when difficult cases or urgent concerns require leadership direction. Treatment Quality and Client Care Oversee assessments, diagnoses, individualized treatment plans, clinical reviews, discharge planning and continuity-of-care practices. Ensure treatment plans reflect each client's diagnoses, risks, strengths, recovery goals and individual circumstances. Monitor the effectiveness and clinical appropriateness of treatment interventions.

Participate in complex-case consultations and provide clear clinical direction when risks or treatment barriers arise. Help maintain a safe, structured, respectful and therapeutically effective residential environment. Protect client rights, dignity, privacy and appropriate clinical boundaries. Clinical Supervision and Staff Development Supervise, mentor and support clinical personnel across multiple levels of care. Provide regular consultation, case review, coaching and constructive performance feedback. Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding and retaining qualified clinical professionals. Establish clear expectations for clinical practice, productivity, documentation and professional conduct. Help staff navigate challenging cases, crises, countertransference, boundary concerns and ethical questions. Evaluate employee performance and develop thoughtful improvement plans when necessary. Identify training needs and create meaningful professional-development opportunities. Foster a clinical culture where team members feel supported while remaining accountable for high-quality work. Develop emerging leaders and strengthen long-term clinical-team stability. Compliance and Quality Assurance Ensure clinical services comply with applicable Arkansas regulations, payer requirements, ethical standards and organizational policies. Maintain readiness for licensing reviews, regulatory inspections, payer audits and accreditation surveys. Support compliance with CARF or comparable behavioral-health accreditation standards. Monitor clinical records for accuracy, medical necessity, timeliness and completeness. Strengthen utilization-review and documentation processes. Develop, review and consistently implement clinical policies and procedures. Lead or support corrective-action plans, quality-improvement initiatives and plans of improvement. Monitor clinical risk and ensure serious concerns are escalated appropriately. Protect confidentiality and reinforce ethical decision-making throughout the organization. Use clinical, operational and outcome data to identify trends and improve care. Program Operations and Organizational Collaboration Partner with executive leadership on staffing, census management, program development and organizational priorities. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment meetings and operational planning. Collaborate with medical providers, therapists, counselors, case managers, recovery personnel and support staff. Strengthen communication and accountability between clinical and operational departments. Evaluate service utilization, clinical outcomes and opportunities for program growth. Support productive relationships with referral partners, families, community providers and external treatment organizations. Help ensure clients transition successfully between residential, PHP, IOP, outpatient and community-based care. Balance immediate operational demands with the organization's long-term clinical mission. Required Qualifications Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Health, Addiction Studies or a closely related clinical discipline Active Arkansas behavioral-health license or clear eligibility to obtain the credential required for the position Meaningful experience treating substance-use disorders and behavioral-health conditions Strong understanding of dual-diagnosis and co-occurring mental-health treatment Experience conducting or overseeing clinical assessments, individualized treatment plans, documentation and discharge planning Previous responsibility for supervising, mentoring or leading clinical personnel Working knowledge of confidentiality, professional ethics, regulatory compliance and quality assurance Strong written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills Sound clinical judgment in complex, sensitive or time-critical situations Ability to work full-time and onsite in Jessieville, Arkansas Willingness to respect and support the organization's Christian mission Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a Clinical Director, Director of Clinical Services, Behavioral Health Director, Program Director or Clinical Supervisor Experience in residential addiction or behavioral-health treatment Experience across multiple levels of care, including residential, PHP, IOP, outpatient or transitional programming Arkansas licensure as an LCSW, LPC, psychologist, addiction professional, clinical supervisor or another credential accepted for the position Experience with CARF or comparable accreditation standards Knowledge of trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention and crisis intervention Experience treating adult men in a structured residential environment Experience with utilization review, regulatory audits, corrective actions or clinical-program development Leadership experience within a faith-based, nonprofit or mission-centered organization The Leader We Are Seeking The right person will combine clinical credibility with emotional intelligence, humility and decisiveness.
