In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients and referring doctors, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from appointment scheduling to follow-up care. Your energetic approach will help foster trust and confidence among patients while efficiently managing administrative tasks. Responsibilities Manage patient appointments ensuring accuracy and timely scheduling Serve as the first point of contact via phone and patient communication channels, providing friendly, professional assistance to patients and visitors Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with health regulation policies and privacy laws, handling sensitive information with care Support dental administrative functions such as verifying insurance details, processing billing information, and updating patient records in EMR/EHR systems Facilitate effective communication between patients and healthcare providers, including follow-up calls and appointment reminders Assist with dental terminology clarification for patients and staff to ensure clear understanding of procedures and instructions Coordinate with clinical staff to streamline patient flow, prepare examination rooms, and manage documentation requirements Experience Previous experience working in a dental office is required Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook for documentation and communication purposes Familiarity with dental administrative support tasks including insurance verification, billing procedures, and appointment scheduling Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; capable of typing efficiently for recordkeeping purposes This role is an excellent fit for proactive individuals eager to contribute to a caring healthcare environment.
