We are looking for a Assistant Medical Clinic Manager to join our team! The Assistant Medical Clinic Manager supports the Clinic Manager in overseeing administrative operations and staff supervision. This role requires independent judgment to ensure efficient clinic functioning and patient care. Key responsibilities include managing staffing levels, maintaining operational budgets, and ensuring compliance with clinic procedures and regulatory standards.
Essential functions:
Review and manage staff leave, timesheets, and staffing levels to support provider needs. Maintain inventory, coordinate equipment repairs, and ensure a safe work environment. Assist in orientation and training of new staff in collaboration with Human Resources. Coordinate replacement staffing and provide input on staffing patterns. Support clinic flow optimization by delegating tasks and scheduling activities. Manage patient grievances in collaboration with Quality Improvement Manager. Facilitate staff education and patient referral processes with relevant departments. Oversee patient referral and care transfer processes. Prepare clinic areas, assist providers, and ensure cleanliness and readiness. Collect and report data, participate in audits, and maintain documentation accuracy. Participate in administrative and clinical meetings as required. Assist providers with administrative tasks such as data gathering and correspondence. Provide translation services when required. Attend meetings and contribute to quality improvement projects. Collaborate effectively with staff for continuity of care and operational efficiency. Adhere to organizational policies, standards, and procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum requirements:
Associate degree in business or related field OR 3-5 years of administrative experience, preferably in healthcare or relevant combination of education and experience. Current certification/licensure appropriate to training (LPN, MA, etc.). Minimum of 2 years clinical experience. Current CPR certification.
