Active State Healthcare License in Idaho / Oregon (as applicable) Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Licensed Healthcare Agent with a minimum of 2 years of healthcare industry experience. The ideal candidate will assist patients, members, providers, and healthcare professionals by delivering accurate information, coordinating healthcare services, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, healthcare industry knowledge, and the ability to navigate healthcare systems, insurance plans, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, members, providers, and healthcare organizations. Verify eligibility, benefits, authorizations, and healthcare services. Educate members on healthcare plans, services, and available resources. Coordinate care and facilitate communication between patients, providers, and insurance carriers. Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions in the appropriate systems. Review and process healthcare-related requests, referrals, and inquiries. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and company policies. Resolve customer concerns and escalate complex cases when necessary. Support enrollment, renewal, and healthcare program administration activities. Stay informed on healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, and industry updates. Required Qualifications Active healthcare-related license in Idaho, Oregon, or the applicable state. Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, care coordination, provider services, patient advocacy, or a related field. High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Strong understanding of healthcare terminology and processes. Experience working with electronic health records (EHR), healthcare systems, or CRM platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial health plans. Knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements. Prior experience in a call center, patient services, case management, or healthcare operations environment.
