We are committed to providing a safe, structured, supportive environment where each young person is treated with dignity and receives individualized care. We are seeking a dependable and capable Admin/ Program Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential program. About the Position This is a hands-on leadership and administrative position. The Program Manager is responsible for making sure the home is operating smoothly, staff are supported and accountable, required documentation is completed, youth services are being carried out appropriately, and licensing and organizational requirements are consistently followed. This position is best suited for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of their responsibilities. The Program Manager should be able to assess what needs attention, prioritize responsibilities, solve routine operational problems, and follow tasks through to completion without needing frequent direction. The right person will be comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities with staff leadership and the everyday needs that arise in a residential program. Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the residential program Supervise, support, and provide direction to direct-care staff Assist with staff scheduling and ensure appropriate coverage Monitor staff performance, attendance, training, and required credentials Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness Maintain organized program, employee, and client records Ensure individualized care plans and behavior support plans are being followed Monitor the home for safety, cleanliness, organization, and compliance Prepare for licensing visits, audits, and inspections Communicate with families, social workers, schools, providers, and other members of the youth's support team Track appointments, deadlines, required documentation, and follow-up items Identify concerns and address routine operational issues before they become larger problems Communicate significant concerns to the Executive Director appropriately and promptly Ensure assigned tasks and corrective items are followed through to completion Support staff training, coaching, and accountability Assist with incident reporting and other required reports Help maintain a consistent, professional, and supportive environment for both youth and staff What Success in This Position Looks Like A successful Program Manager does not wait for every task to be assigned. They understand the responsibilities of the program, maintain systems to keep important items from being missed, and communicate when something requires additional support or a decision from the Executive Director. You should be comfortable managing multiple priorities, noticing when something is incomplete or needs attention, finding appropriate solutions, and following up until the issue is resolved. Because this is a residential program, unexpected situations will occur. We are looking for someone who can remain calm, gather the necessary information, use good judgment, and determine the appropriate next step. Qualifications Candidates must meet the education and experience requirements applicable to the Program Manager position, including one of the following: Master's degree with at least 1 year of qualifying experience working with youth; OR Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of qualifying experience; OR Associate degree with at least 4 years of qualifying experience Supervisory experience in human services, residential care, developmental disabilities, behavioral health, social services, or a related setting is strongly preferred. Candidates should also have strong written communication skills and be comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, email, electronic records, schedules, and other administrative systems. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and knowledge of DDA/residential services is preferred but not required. Employment is contingent upon completion of applicable background, fingerprint, TB, and other required employment and licensing checks. Schedule & Availability This is an on-site leadership position with regular Monday-Friday responsibilities. The Program Manager must be reliable and consistently available during regular business operations. The position also requires the ability to respond appropriately when urgent program needs arise.
