El Cerrito Salary:
$80-90K annually plus bonuses Looking for someone full or part time Primary duties Establish rapport and gather history from patients, conduct audiometric testing, and make recommendations for hearing aids Provide counseling and care which delights the patients Make ear impressions and ear molds, order instruments Program hearing aids using a computer Fit hearing aids and assist with any adjustments, questions or problems Dispense accessories including batteries, special products, ALD'S, or any other product available through practice Report patient test results to originating referral source or appropriate staff member for tracking and documentation Maintain all clinical records and charts as specified by practice management Support clinic operations by conducting quality control analysis of incoming hearing aids and maintenance of test areas, equipment and supplies Achieve the clinical operational variables and the monthly and annual goals Maintain documentation and patient files Characteristics and Skills/Abilities Patience Trustworthiness Calm demeanor Empathy for others Enjoys people Presents a professional appearance Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a wide range of patients, colleagues, and vendors Sales / business-minded Interest in technology Must be proficient with PCs and conventional software packages as well as programming software. Reasonable problem-solving skills Good time-management skills Demonstrated proficiency in hearing aid dispensing to include programmable hearing aids of major manufacturers. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of patients Must be able and willing to generate referrals from patients and physicians Must be able to problem solve and manage the day-to-day operations of the clinic independently Education /
Experience Required:
High School Diploma California Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist 3 years of hearing aid dispensing experience Au.
