The Audiology Assistant supports licensed audiologists in delivering high-quality patient care and efficient day-to-day clinical operations. The Audiology Assistant assists with hearing-related services, patient education, hearing aid support, scheduling, inventory management, and equipment sanitation. The Audiology Assistant is organized, service-oriented, and comfortable working with both adult and pediatric patients in a clinical setting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Support licensed audiologists by assisting with patient care activities Perform hearing screening, tympanometry, and non-diagnostic tests on adults and children Manage hearing aids, including cleaning, troubleshooting, and performing minor repairs on hearing aid devices and ear molds Educate patients on hearing aid care, use, and maintenance Schedule appointments and support patient flow EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required National Certification (C-AA) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred 500 to 1,000 hours of supervised patient services preferred Completion of coursework in ethics, safety, and confidentiality preferred

Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographical location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/ training and other qualifications.
