Job Summary Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Independent Living Skills (ILS) & Social Recreation Mountain Top Health Care Consultants is currently hiring an experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Independent Living Skills (ILS) and Social Recreation services to adults with developmental disabilities. We are seeking dependable, compassionate, and professional individuals who are committed to helping clients increase their independence and quality of life. Minimum Qualifications Experience providing as a DSP required DSP I and DSP II certifications are required Computer proficiency is required Excellent documentation skills are required Valid California driver's license Current vehicle registration Current auto insurance Reliable transportation Ability to successfully pass a background check Professional communication skills and the ability to work independently Job Responsibilities Provide one-on-one support to individuals in their homes and throughout the community Teach and reinforce independent living skills Assist clients with community integration and social recreation activities Complete accurate, detailed, and timely progress notes and documentation Maintain professional communication with supervisors, clients, families, and Regional Center staff Promote each client's independence while ensuring their health and safety Qualified applicants only. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities support is advantageous. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality. Certification in CPR and first aid is required; additional certifications such as medication administration or manual handling are a plus.
