This role assists patients with activities of daily living while promoting comfort, dignity, safety, and independence in accordance with the individualized Plan of Care. What You'll Do Provide hands-on personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, oral hygiene, and skin care. Assist patients with mobility, transfers, ambulation, range-of-motion exercises, and other approved therapy-related activities. Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and maintaining proper nutrition when needed. Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment. Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, when assigned and competency validated. Assist patients with self-administration of medications as directed. Observe, document, and promptly report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse. Complete accurate and timely documentation according to agency standards. Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and team communication. Follow all infection control, safety, and professional standards while providing patient care. Qualifications Required Current California Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) certification Current CPR/BLS Certification Valid California Driver's License Reliable transportation with current auto insurance Ability to travel to patient homes within assigned territories Ability to read, follow written instructions, and accurately document patient care Compassionate, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Registration on the California Home Care Aide Registry Previous Home Health, CNA, Hospital, Assisted Living, or Skilled Nursing experience Bilingual is a plus Required Credentials Active California Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification Driver's License Auto Insurance CPR/BLS Certification TB Test or Chest X-Ray Physical Examination Professional Liability SSN Physical Requirements Ability to assist with patient transfers, mobility, ambulation, and personal care. Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and lift as needed during patient care. Ability to safely perform assigned duties in patients' homes. Why Tender Home Health? Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Application Question(s): Are you willing to travel within a 20-30 mile radius to visit patients in their homes? Do you have at least 2 days of availability per week for patient visits? Do you have at least 1 year of experience as a Certified HHA?
