This role is vital in promoting independence, dignity, and well-being for clients across various care settings. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and a proactive attitude to help enhance the quality of life for those they serve. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while developing valuable skills in caregiving and health support. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Support clients with medication administration following prescribed instructions and safety protocols Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation and promote mental well-being Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs tailored to individual dietary requirements Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment Implement behavior management strategies for clients with dementia or cognitive disabilities to ensure safety and comfort Skills Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care environments Strong knowledge of Alzheimer's care, memory care, dementia care, and geriatrics best practices Ability to perform manual handling and safe patient lifting techniques to prevent injury Familiarity with home & community care practices and long-term care procedures Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments Certification in CPR and First Aid to respond effectively during emergencies Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and healthcare teams effectively Join us in delivering compassionate care that transforms lives!
