Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need in their homes. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by helping them with daily tasks and promoting their independence. This is a paid position with opportunities for growth and development.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide assistance with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort
• Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as tidying up living spaces and doing laundry
• Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings
• Engage in meaningful activities with clients to promote mental stimulation and social interaction
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health to the appropriate healthcare professionals

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes or facilities
