Summary As a Direct Support Professional at Noela Healthcare Services, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily living activities and supporting their overall well-being. This position is essential in helping our clients maintain independence while receiving the care they need. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life. Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals. Help with household tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry. Support clients in participating in community activities and social events. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain client confidentiality. Assist with mobility and heavy lifting as needed. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or home care preferred. Knowledge of memory care techniques is a plus. Certification in CPR and first aid is required. Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient rights. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
