Job Description

Optimae LifeServices in Chariton is looking for Direct Support Professional Staff to fill 2 full time 4pm-12am shifts. Applicants should possess a willingness and desire to work with people experiencing Mental Illness, Intellectual, and Developmental Disabilities. If you want more than a job, join our team where you can make a difference; assist in teaching life skills to individuals in a community-based setting.

Some duties include:

Supporting our customer's social and learning environment Assisting with activities Supporting our customers to achieve the personal goals of their choice. We are looking for self-directed individuals with characteristics of compassion, respect, and problem-solving skills. Background check required which includes Child and Dependent Adult Abuse and driving record check. No experience necessary, we will train.
