Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aides in the N ew Lenox area to provide exceptional in-home support to clients with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will assist with daily activities, ensure patient safety, and promote independence in a respectful and caring manner. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with their health and daily routines, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness. Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or home health settings is highly valued. Candidates should be committed to maintaining patient dignity and confidentiality while delivering high-quality care. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Support with medication administration and monitor vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Assist with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and ensure safe transfer techniques Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment Document patient care activities accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Observe and report any changes in patient condition or behavior to supervisors promptly Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality at all times Support patients with specialized needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice care, or memory care Skills Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in health status Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to caregiving roles Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills and patience when working with seniors or individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities Ability to work independently while following care plans and protocols

Job Requirements:
High school diploma/GED preferred At least 1 year of home care experience is preferred Must be able to successfully complete the hiring process which includes a background check
Pay:
Up to $18.75 per hour
