About the Role Looking for a rewarding full or part-time position with flexible hours where you can truly make a difference? Shore Community Services is seeking dedicated, compassionate On-call Direct Support Professionals to join our team!
In this role, you will empower children and/or adults with developmental disabilities by providing direct care, assisting with daily life activities, and supporting community outings. Whether you are looking to supplement your schedule or build experience in human services, this role offers the flexibility to adapt to program needs while positively impacting the lives of those we serve. Key Responsibilities •
Direct Support & Daily Care:
Provide respectful, hands-on care to children and/or adults with developmental disabilities in residential and programming (including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks).•
Community Inclusion:
Assist and accompany individuals on community outings and enriching activities.•
Person-Centered Care:
Follow individualized care plans to ensure safety, dignity, and well-being.•
Flexible Scheduling:
Maintain flexibility and responsiveness to scheduling requests from program leadership across weekday, weekend, holiday, or overnight shifts. What We Offer & Organization Culture •

Don't have all your certifications yet? Shore provides all required training (Safety Care-QBS, CPR/AED, First Aid, DHS Rule 116, and DSP Certification).•

Prior experience in caregiving or direct support preferred but not required .

Physical & Attire Requirements:
• Ability to sit, bend, lift, push, use hands, and maintain independent mobility.•
Attire:
Closed-toe shoes with non-slip soles required. (For safety, minimal jewelry is recommended: no earrings, rings with raised designs, bracelets, chains, or pins). Schedule Expectations This position will be on-call.
