Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to individuals in need. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, promoting their independence, and ensuring their well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
• Monitor and record vital signs as required
• Ensure clients' rights are respected and advocate on their behalf
• Create a safe and supportive environment for clients
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and social workers to implement care plans
• Assist with hospice care, home care, or assisted living services as needed

Skills:

• Proficient in vital signs monitoring and medication administration
• Knowledge of social work systems and patient care practices
• Experience in meal preparation and hospice care is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to uphold resident rights and maintain confidentiality
