Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Position:

Full-Time We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and professional Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to a new client receiving services in Bethesda, MD. The DSP will assist the individual with daily living activities, personal care, community participation, and overall health and well-being while promoting independence, dignity, and a safe and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one support with activities of daily living, community integration, and recreational activities. Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene. Encourage communication, social engagement, independence, and positive interactions. Assist with meal preparation, household cleaning, laundry, and other routine household tasks. Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment. Accompany the individual to medical appointments, community outings, and scheduled activities. Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate medication documentation in accordance with applicable procedures. Implement positive behavior support strategies and appropriate redirection techniques when needed. Complete accurate and timely progress notes, documentation, and incident reports. Monitor and promote the individual's health, safety, and well-being. Promptly report concerns, incidents, changes in condition, or other relevant matters to the supervisor. Required Qualifications DDA Core Training CPR Certification Bloodborne Pathogens certificate Mandt Training certificate CMT (Certified Medication Technician) Valid Driver's License Dependable, compassionate, patient, and professional approach to supporting individuals with disabilities We are looking for someone who is dependable, respectful, and committed to providing high-quality person-centered support.
