Monday through Friday Looking for a meaningful role where you can make a difference and grow your career? MVRA is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Community Support team! Our DSPs support adults with developmental disabilities in building independence, developing new skills, and becoming active members of their communities. What You'll Do Support individuals in the community through goal-focused activities that promote independence and personal growth. Help build everyday life skills such as grocery shopping, budgeting, meal planning and preparation, cleaning, organization, and other independent living skills. Explore the community together by visiting parks, beaches, local businesses, libraries, fitness centers, volunteer opportunities, and community events while practicing safety awareness and decision-making skills. Encourage social connections, confidence, communication, and healthy relationships. Support individuals in identifying and working toward their personal goals in a fun, engaging, and person-centered way. Ensure the health, safety, dignity, and well-being of the individuals you support. Complete documentation in accordance with MaineCare and agency requirements. Why Join MVRA?
