Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description Rehab Technician I:
Oakwood| 1st shift, 8 hours | East Lansing, MI Make a real impact—help someone build independence while building a career, you're proud of. As a Rehabilitation Technician I, you'll support individuals recovering from traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and spinal cord injuries (SCI) as they rebuild their strength, independence and quality of life after hospitalization. Through hands-on assistance with daily living activities, hygiene care, community involvement, and therapeutic goals, you'll help clients achieve meaningful milestones while building trusted, supportive relationships. Every shift is an opportunity to celebrate progress, promote healthy habits, and play a vital role in someone's journey toward a more independent future. What You'll Do Assist with daily living (ADLs), personal care, and medications Support community outings, transportation, and activities Build positive relationships and encourage independence Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment What We're Looking For Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Strong communication and ability to build trust Adaptable, patient, and resilient Person-centered mindset with respect for individual differences
What You Bring Preferred:
High school diploma or equivalent Health care experience
Required:
Valid driver's license Ability to lift 50 lbs.
