Whether working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those navigating recovery, you'll be a vital part of creating a comfortable and nurturing environment. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition Support medication administration following prescribed care plans and HIPAA confidentiality standards Facilitate patient transfers using manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, patient progress, and incident reports Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance overall quality of life Requirements Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism Ability to perform patient observation and monitor health status effectively Skills in cleaning, maintaining a safe environment, and adhering to infection control protocols Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications related to hospice care or geriatrics are a plus Experience with manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts and patient transfer techniques Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual handling tasks as needed back ground check Join us in delivering compassionate home care that truly makes a difference!
