Job Summary
  • Why you'll love this position Northwest Community Services is recruiting for a Supervising Support Care Assistant, to be a part of a highly effective team that supports over 500 employees, that makes a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities.
NWCS is a state operated program within the Department of Mental Health and supports 100+ individuals receiving 24/7 residential services in their own homes across four counties. This position will be domiciled in Independence/Raytown on the Eagles schedule. The Supervising Support Care Assistant must be detail orientated, work well with others, have good time management skills, possess leadership skills, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Excel and other computer programs and willing to travel. Responsibilities
  • What you'll do This position will be responsible for making sure that the unit's schedule has the staff needed to support our individuals on a daily bases. They will collaborate on the unit's schedule, take calls during their shift, adjust the schedule as needed and work with staff regarding availability Qualifications
