Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Follow care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Use proper patient transfer methods and manual handling techniques, including Hoyer lifts and patient transfer devices Maintain cleanliness of residents' personal spaces and common areas through regular cleaning routines Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation Experience Prior experience working in homecare, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to observe patients carefully and respond promptly to their needs Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders is advantageous Familiarity with care plans and patient monitoring is essential Experience with patient transfer methods like Hoyer lifts and patient personal care assistance enhances effectiveness in this role Background in geriatrics, homecare, or long-term care settings supports successful performance Strong communication skills for client interaction and teamwork within multidisciplinary healthcare teams Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication transforms lives!
