This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your caregiving skills while making a lasting impact on those you serve. Duties Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene to promote dignity and independence Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, conducting patient assessments, and reporting changes to healthcare teams Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs and preferences Operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling devices to ensure safe mobility and transfers Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing routine cleaning tasks in accordance with health standards Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' quality of life Skills Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or aging populations such as geriatrics or dementia care Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques Familiarity with assisted living environments, nursing homes, hospice care, home health services, and long-term care settings Ability to perform patient personal care assistance with compassion and professionalism Skilled in using care plans, medication administration , first aid & CPR certification, and vital signs measurement Experience working with individuals with autism or intellectual disabilities support needs Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Required training with certificates are mandatory: CPR/first aid, Medication Administartion, Blood Borne Pathoges, and Seizure Management.
