Whether working in a home health setting, assisted living facility, or memory care environment, you will be a vital part of enhancing quality of life for those you serve. This position is paid and offers opportunities for growth within the caregiving field. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using proper manual handling and patient transfer methods like Hoyer lifts. Monitor patients' health status by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals. Support medication administration following care plans while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols. Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment for residents or clients. Assist with transportation needs, including escorting clients to appointments or community activities using personal transportation assistance. Skills Proven experience working in group homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home health environments. Strong patient observation skills with the ability to monitor vital signs and detect changes in condition promptly. Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, autism support, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Familiarity with care plans, medication administration procedures, CPR/First Aid certification, and HIPAA compliance. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and patient transfers safely. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities support needs. Pay:
