Home Care Worker for an Adult with

Stokesdale, NC 27357 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and patient Home Care Worker to provide dedicated support to an adult with disabilities. Your primary role will be to assist with daily living activities, ensure personal safety, and foster independence within a comfortable home environment.
Key Responsibilities Personal Care:
Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and maintaining personal hygiene.
Mobility Support:
Help with transferring safely between bed, wheelchair, and vehicles; assist with physical therapy exercises if required.
Meal Preparation:
Cook nutritious meals tailored to specific dietary guidelines and assist with feeding if necessary.
Household Help:
Manage light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, dish washing, and keeping living spaces clean and tidy.
Health Monitoring:
Administer medication reminders, track health changes, and accompany the individual to medical appointments.
Companionship:
Engage in meaningful conversation, recreational activities, and community outings to promote social well-being.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Previous experience working with adults with disabilities or in a care giving role preferred.
Certifications:
Valid CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain them immediately).
Physical Fitness:
Capability to safely lift, bend, and assist with adult mobility transfers.
Background Check:
Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and provide reference checks.
Traits:
Excellent communication skills, strong emotional resilience, punctuality, and a respectful attitude.
Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
