Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Per Diem Personal Care Assistant to support our residents on an as-needed basis. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. The ideal candidate will bring a compassionate approach, strong caregiving skills, and relevant experience in senior and memory care. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Support residents with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other cognitive disabilities through personalized care strategies. Administer medication following prescribed protocols and document all medication-related activities accurately. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to residents' dietary needs and preferences while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. Engage residents in social activities and provide emotional support to promote mental well-being. Follow resident's rights policies, ensuring dignity, privacy, and respect are maintained at all times. Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring. Experience providing Alzheimer's care, memory care, or dementia care is desirable, and State mandated Dementia training annually. Background working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is advantageous. Strong caregiving skills complemented by excellent communication abilities and a compassionate demeanor. Pay:
From $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 - 36.0 per week
