F

• Co-founded by a parent of an adult son with autism, Friends of Cyrus supports adults with I/DD in our residential, day habilitation and community-based programs. The DSP will provide support to individuals that foster independence and individuality. FOC's Day Habilitation are located in Medford & Tarbernacle, NJ. FOC's DSPs are dedicated to providing diverse opportunities to enhance quality of life and encourage individuals to reach their fullest potential. Duties include but are not limited to: Supporting individuals in their daily life with activities including, community outings/recreation events, cooking, personal care and skill development Transporting the individuals to their activities, places of employment and appointments Administering and supervising medication Completing proper electronic documentation Ensuring our individuals are safe, healthy, and engaging in meaningful opportunities Comfortable working independently and consistently makes good judgment calls that benefit the individual and staff Must be able work under adverse conditions Must have the keen ability to quickly handle stressful and aggressive behavior responsibly and effectively Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping those in need

Job Qualifications:

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
