Job Description

Job Overview Join our compassionate healthcare team as a Home Health Aide, where your dedication will make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients receiving in-home care. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance to individuals with diverse needs, supporting their independence and well-being in the comfort of their own homes. Duties Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patient health, recording vital signs and reporting changes to healthcare professionals Administer medications and perform catheter care following medical instructions and home healthcare regulations Support patients with memory care needs, Alzheimer's or dementia care, ensuring safety and comfort Use Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to document patient information accurately and securely Aid in patient transfer methods using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices while maintaining proper patient handling techniques Perform light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe living environment Requirements Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, geriatrics, or in assisted living environments Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, vital signs measurement, and basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification Familiarity with home health care assistance, hospice care, and end-of-life support practices Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent client communication and confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with patient transfers safely using appropriate equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer methods Strong understanding of home health regulations and documentation standards for medical records and medical documentation Prior experience working with geriatric patients or in long-term care settings is highly desirable Join us to provide compassionate, energetic support that enhances the quality of life for our clients. Pay:
$17.50 - $19.00 per hour
