Job Summary Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Home Health Aide, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, personalized care to patients in their own homes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with disabilities, and patients requiring end-of-life care. As a Home Health Aide, you will deliver essential support that promotes independence, comfort, and dignity while adhering to home healthcare regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality. Your energetic approach and commitment to quality care will help foster trust and positive outcomes for every patient you serve. Duties Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to ensure comfort and hygiene. Monitor and observe patient conditions regularly, including vital signs, mental status, and overall health status. Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments, including memory care techniques. Assist with mobility and transfers using patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to ensure safety. Perform light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe living environment. Communicate effectively with clients and their families about care plans while respecting HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Requirements Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, geriatrics, or in assisted living environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, catheter care, wound care, and end-of-life support techniques. Certification in First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS), including CPR training. Familiarity with home health agency operations and home healthcare regulations. Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physical tasks such as patient transfers or assisting with mobility. Experience using EMR/EHR systems for documentation and communication purposes. Strong interpersonal skills for client communication and caregiving; compassionate attitude essential. Pay:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 60.0 - 120.0 per week
