About Us:

Looking for a fun, creative, energetic individual to support my autistic young man. He enjoys being active in the community (basketball, bowling, Special Olympics, and other outdoors activities). He is physically fit and only needs supervision and intellectual engagement. Candidate must possess tutoring and basic computer skills. The successful candidate will also be expected to work on his social and community living skills. The goal is to assist him to become familiar with decision making skills. Experience beyond the High School Diploma such as Teacher Aid or Tutoring, is required. A reliable transportation including a clean driving record is required. Preference will be given to an individual with an Associate Degree or better. Hourly wage is dependent upon qualifications and experience. There is the potential to advance to full time with benefits. This position is made available through the Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) Self-Directed Program and Racker Centers.
