Our Client is seeking a reliable and attentive Direct Support Professional to provide support and instruction to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities within a group home in the Queens area. To include Manhattan, Bronx, & Brooklyn, area.

Competitive Compensation:

$19-$20 per hour

CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS

Assorted shifts available for part time and full schedule. Weekends are available. Must be able to work some weekends.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Promote intellectual, emotional, and social growth.
• Ensure all activities are designed to foster growth to each individual's highest level of accomplishment.
• Ensure all care and services are delivered in a climate of normalization, care and concern.
• Assist Consumers with daily nutrition and their medications (as needed)
• Transport Consumers to appointments (as needed)

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Valid Driver's License (not required but helpful)
• Ability to complete and pass mandated clearances.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be comfortable toileting.
