Job Overview This position is for an individual residing in Coshocton county. You will need a valid drivers license for this position. It is a
PART TIME
position that requires a female staff. The hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 2:30-7:30pm. Please be sure you meet this criteria before applying before applying. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves supporting clients in their daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe, respectful environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in home and community care. Prior experience with autism or I/DD care is highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve while working in a supportive team environment. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients for any changes in condition or behavior Administer medication and perform basic health assessments following care plans and HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and preparation Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and observations in compliance with healthcare standards Engage clients in social activities and community outings to promote social well-being Follow safety protocols including CPR and First Aid procedures; maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties Ensure compliance with all regulations including HIPAA privacy standards Requirements Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are preferred; willingness to obtain these certifications if not already held Ability to work compassionately with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs Strong observational skills for patient safety and health status updates Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others This role provides an essential service within our community by supporting individuals in achieving their highest level of independence. Pay:
From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
