In client's home Urgently hiring support for 9 year old with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Client has extreme behaviors. Schedule is Monday - Sunday between the hours of 8 am - 8 pm flexible.

Milwaukie, OR 97222 Responsibilities and Duties Position Expectations (may include, but are not limited to the following:) Support to increase communication skills, support to develop ADLs to include dressing, mobility, eating, personal hygiene, redirection of known behaviors, There is a PBSP and applicant will need OIS level 2 certification prior to working and training by the behaviorist. (we will set this up) Skill development and support as defined in the Individual Support Plan (ISP) Documentation of progress notes at the end of each shift Preferred Skills Experience providing general care and support Knowledge of home care services and supports Proficient in written and oral communication Overall competency in working under pressure
General Staff Qualifications:
A staff member delivering services to an individual must meet the following criteria: Be at least 18 years of age Be legally eligible to work in the United States Understand requirements of maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding individual information Not be on the list of excluded or disbarred providers maintained by the Office of the Inspector General of the State of Oregon Be literate and capable of understanding and following both written and oral orders Be able to communicate with individuals, case managers and others as appropriate Be certified in CPR / First Aid by a recognized training agency within 60 calendar days of being listed as a employee Receive 24 hours of job-related in-service training annually Be clear as to the job responsibilities as described in a current, signed and dated job description Additional qualifications as required by applicable endorsed agency staff program rules
