Direct Support Professional/Driver/Floater Prosperity, PA 1 DAYS AGO 22741506 Summary Prosperity, PA In-Person $19.00 - $19.00 per Hour 6 Months Experience High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED) No Commission 37.50 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description This is a full time position working as a Direct Support Professional in the Community Participation Supports Program and providing transportation as a van driver. The person in this position will be responsible for assisting individuals with intellectual and or developmental disabilities in program areas where needed. This person will be providing transportation to and from community homes and Community Participation outings.

Responsibilities include:

Providing direct instruction and assistance to individuals with disabilities consistent with individualized written plans, established curricula, and approved instructional techniques; evaluating and reporting progress towards goals and objectives; participating in interdisciplinary team meetings; and record keeping. Computer knowledge required. This person must operate vehicles in a safe manner at all times; assist individuals with disabilities to enter and exit vans; conduct periodic safety inspections; perform routine cleaning and maintenance of assigned vehicles.

Minimum Qualifications:

Accredited State High School Diploma or GED required. On-line Diploma must meet the requirements of the PA Department of Education. Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record past 3 years. Must Pass Child Abuse History, FBI and Criminal Record Check Clearances. Must Pass Pre-Hire Physical and TB Test EOE Additional Details
