Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes promptly Support medication administration in accordance with HIPAA regulations and care plans Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal consumption to promote health and well-being Operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques to ensure safe mobility Engage residents in meaningful activities tailored to their interests and needs, including memory care and dementia support Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning duties and ensure a safe environment for all residents Requirements Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Experience supporting individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or developmental disabilities is advantageous Ability to assist with ADLs using proper manual handling and patient transfer methods; CPR and First Aid certification required or willing to obtain upon hire Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation; familiarity with HIPAA compliance is essential Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, patient transfers, and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts A compassionate attitude combined with patience and resilience to support residents' emotional and physical needs Join us in making a positive impact by providing top-quality care that promotes independence, safety, and happiness for those we serve. Pay:
From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 4.0 - 40.0 per week
