Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Home Health Aide to join our team! In this vital role, you will provide personalized care and assistance to clients in their homes, promoting independence and enhancing quality of life. Your compassionate approach and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference for those in need of support with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional well-being. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting changes promptly Administer medications accurately following medical instructions and documentation protocols Support clients with medical procedures such as catheter care and wound management when trained Maintain detailed medical records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Provide companionship and emotional support, especially for clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or in hospice care Follow home healthcare regulations and ensure patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards Skills Strong patient observation skills with the ability to recognize changes in condition or behavior Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, geriatrics, or memory care needs Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS) including CPR and first aid Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation Ability to assist with transfers using patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or other equipment Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Physical stamina for heavy lifting, long shifts, and assisting with mobility or transfers Join us to make a positive impact on the lives of those who need your care! Pay:
$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
