You will be instrumental in helping young adults prepare for independence and integration into the community. You will gain professional experience and exposure to the child welfare system. EOE.

(Tuesday-Saturday 4pm to 12am)

Duties and Responsibilities:
Dependability and reliability Ensure that the clients are receiving proper care Providing a safe physical/emotional environment Providing supervision Assist in developing and carrying out goals Excellent at conflict management Provide transportation as necessary Adhere to site policies, routines, and procedures Maintain certifications and trainings Attend weekly meetings, in-service trainings and orientation programs
Residential Direct Care Counselor Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalency Valid driver's license Own vehicle Bilingual (Spanish) a HUGE plus One year minimum experience working directly with adolescents and/or children
OR BA/BS
in social services or related field with no direct work experience.
Pay:
$21.50 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
