Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professionals and House Managers to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with diverse needs. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations within residential care settings, ensuring residents receive personalized assistance that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being. Your leadership will foster a safe, nurturing environment while managing care plans, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with health regulations. Duties Provide direct assistance to residents with activities of daily living, including medication administration, personal hygiene, and mobility support. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs, including those requiring Alzheimer's care, dementia care, or memory support. Supervise and train care staff to ensure high-quality service delivery aligned with long-term care regulations and best practices. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility or home, including managing staff schedules, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with health regulation policies. Maintain accurate documentation using Microsoft Office tools for resident records, incident reports, and care updates. Coordinate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and families to support residents' overall health and well-being. Lead efforts in community engagement and ensure a safe environment that promotes social interaction and resident satisfaction. Experience Prior experience working in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or residential care homes is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia management, memory care strategies, and long-term care regulations. Proven supervisory or management experience within healthcare or senior living settings. Familiarity with healthcare financial management, budgeting, and operational oversight in a healthcare environment. Strong understanding of disability services, home & community care practices, and nursing leadership principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and communication purposes. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or complex health conditions is highly desirable.
