Whether supporting residents in group homes, assisted living facilities, or home health settings, your efforts will foster a nurturing environment where clients feel valued and empowered. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to develop your caregiving skills while positively impacting the community. Responsibilities Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods Monitor and observe patients' health status by taking vital signs, administering medications following care plans, and reporting changes to healthcare professionals Support clients with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and nutritional needs to promote healthy living Maintain a safe environment through cleaning duties and ensuring adherence to infection control protocols Document care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies Provide transportation assistance for appointments or community outings using appropriate safety measures Engage in patient communication to foster trust and understanding while supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, dementia, Alzheimer's, or autism Qualifications Prior experience working in group homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home health environments is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs is essential Experience with medication administration, first aid, CPR certification, and HIPAA compliance is required Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and long-term care settings is advantageous Ability to assist with manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and patient transfers safely and effectively Strong communication skills for engaging with clients and collaborating with healthcare teams Demonstrated ability to work compassionately with individuals who have intellectual disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred for client outings and appointments Join us in delivering exceptional care that transforms lives! Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
