Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to support health assessments Support residents with medication administration following proper protocols and documentation procedures Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation Follow safe patient lifting practices and manual handling techniques to ensure safety during transfers and mobility assistance Assist with meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment Implement behavior management strategies for clients with IDD. Skills Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred. Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments Strong communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and healthcare teams Familiarity with first aid procedures, CPR certification, and safe patient lifting practices Experience working in home & community care environments or long-term care settings is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with confidence Competence in cleaning duties to maintain hygienic living spaces Understanding of medication administration protocols and client confidentiality standards Join us in providing exceptional care that enriches lives!
