Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts. Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes to healthcare teams promptly. Administer medications and follow care plans in accordance with HIPAA regulations and safety protocols. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards. Support residents in engaging with community activities, social events, and recreational programs to promote socialization and well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and adherence to infection control procedures. Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies. Qualifications Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of patient care techniques including CPR, First Aid, Alzheimer's care, dementia care, autism support, and hospice care. Ability to work with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges such as memory loss or behavioral needs. Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and patient safety oversight. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting residents with mobility or transfers using Hoyer lifts or other equipment. Familiarity with HIPAA privacy standards and medication administration procedures.
